Requirements
- 6+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree, 5+ years with a Master's, or 3+ years with a PhD.
- At least 4 years of hands-on penetration testing experience.
- At least 4 years of practical experience with one or more of Nmap, Metasploit, Kali Linux, or Burp Suite.
- Strong knowledge of application attack vectors and OWASP Top 10.
- Solid technical understanding of TCP/IP networking.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Linux administration.
- Strong technical communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with NetSparker and AppScan is desirable.
- Offensive security certification such as CEH, WAPT, GPEN, GWAPT, GAWN, or OSCP is desirable.
- Willingness to travel occasionally up to 10%.
Responsibilities
- Conduct advanced application security assessments covering web applications, mobile applications, and APIs.
- Perform network security assessments including internal and external penetration tests and vulnerability assessments.
- Execute manual exploitation testing using Nmap, Metasploit, Kali Linux, Burp Suite, and other tools.
- Research emerging threats and attack techniques to identify new testing opportunities.
- Document vulnerabilities, reproduction steps, and remediation recommendations.
- Produce and deliver professional security assessment reports.
- Lead client-facing meetings including project kickoffs and close-out discussions.
- Collaborate with security teams while independently managing assigned testing activities.
