Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • 5+ years of professional software development experience, preferably within the telecommunications industry.
  • Strong proficiency in C++, including solid knowledge of data structures and multithreaded programming.
  • Strong Linux system knowledge and experience developing software in Linux-based environments.
  • Solid understanding of the Radio Access Network (RAN) layer and signaling and data exchange between devices and infrastructure.
  • Good knowledge of mobile technologies including 3G, 4G, IMS/VoLTE, 5G, and IoT.
  • Familiarity with mobile network signaling standards and protocols such as SIP, RRC, and NAS, as defined by 3GPP.
  • Interest in and practical aptitude for AI-driven software development.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance next-generation mobile test probe software supporting 4G, 5G, and IoT use cases.
  • Build applications capable of simulating mobile users and services, including voice, SMS, and data traffic.
  • Design and implement reliable, high-performance software primarily using C++ on Linux.
  • Apply strong software engineering practices around data structures, multithreading, system design, and performance optimization.
  • Work with mobile network signaling and integration concepts to ensure test solutions accurately represent real-world network behavior.
  • Collaborate within a small Agile development team to deliver high-quality features.
  • Analyze complex technical and customer requirements, taking ownership of solutions from development through delivery.
  • Troubleshoot software and network-integration issues in challenging telecom testing scenarios.
  • Maintain a strong customer focus by developing solutions that help mobile operators validate and optimize their services.
  • Contribute to AI-driven development practices to improve engineering productivity.
