Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Experience in BSA/AML operations and financial crimes investigations.
- Experience with SAM programs within a regulated financial institution.
- Demonstrated experience conducting case investigations.
- Demonstrated experience preparing SAR referrals.
- Working knowledge of Actimize, FCRM, and enterprise transaction monitoring systems.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage queues, SLAs, and personal workload.
- Professional certifications such as CAMS preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct SAM case investigations, enhanced due diligence, and escalation activities.
- Investigate cases generated through transaction monitoring systems and manual referrals.
- Execute day-to-day case work ensuring adherence to established SLAs and quality standards.
- Support the development, maintenance, and policy compliance of the BSA/AML program.
- Prepare SAR referrals and respond to law enforcement and regulatory inquiries.
- Support root cause analysis for operational issues and recommend risk-based remediation.
- Provide feedback on SAM rules and scenarios to Data Analytics and Technology teams.
