Requirements

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in fraud, financial crimes, payments, risk, Trust and Safety, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of direct people management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience building fraud operations workflows, investigation processes, and SOPs from the ground up.
  • Deep working knowledge of common fraud typologies including account takeover, identity theft, and payment fraud.
  • Proven experience managing high-volume operational queues using metrics and QA/QC processes.
  • Strong analytical mindset for diagnosing bottlenecks and prioritizing process improvements.
  • Experience managing BPO or outsourced operations teams.
  • Strong operational judgment and ability to create structure in fast-paced environments.
  • Demonstrated ownership mentality and ability to drive initiatives through implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage end-to-end fraud operations workflows across various fraud typologies.
  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of Fraud Analysts.
  • Establish and monitor operational Service Level Agreements (SLAs), queue health metrics, and QA/QC processes.
  • Manage external Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and outsourced operations partners.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to improve workflows through technology, AI, and automation.
  • Develop and deliver regular reporting on fraud volumes, backlogs, SLAs, and case dispositions.
  • Support regulatory, audit, and internal review requests.
