Requirements
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in fraud, financial crimes, payments, risk, Trust and Safety, or a related field.
- 3+ years of direct people management experience.
- Demonstrated experience building fraud operations workflows, investigation processes, and SOPs from the ground up.
- Deep working knowledge of common fraud typologies including account takeover, identity theft, and payment fraud.
- Proven experience managing high-volume operational queues using metrics and QA/QC processes.
- Strong analytical mindset for diagnosing bottlenecks and prioritizing process improvements.
- Experience managing BPO or outsourced operations teams.
- Strong operational judgment and ability to create structure in fast-paced environments.
- Demonstrated ownership mentality and ability to drive initiatives through implementation.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage end-to-end fraud operations workflows across various fraud typologies.
- Manage, coach, and develop a team of Fraud Analysts.
- Establish and monitor operational Service Level Agreements (SLAs), queue health metrics, and QA/QC processes.
- Manage external Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and outsourced operations partners.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to improve workflows through technology, AI, and automation.
- Develop and deliver regular reporting on fraud volumes, backlogs, SLAs, and case dispositions.
- Support regulatory, audit, and internal review requests.
