Requirements
- Experience in Revenue Cycle Management, medical billing, healthcare administration, or a related field.
- General understanding of the healthcare revenue cycle from registration through payment.
- Familiarity with claims, payer processes, billing, and accounts receivable.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to research account issues and resolve discrepancies.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Comfortable working with healthcare and billing software.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts or priorities independently.
- Willingness to learn different revenue cycle functions and workflows.
Responsibilities
- Process and review revenue cycle transactions across assigned client accounts.
- Support claim submission, claim status follow-up, payment posting, and accounts receivable activities.
- Review accounts for missing information, billing issues, and payment discrepancies.
- Investigate unpaid, rejected, and denied claims and route issues to the appropriate team.
- Assist with account reconciliation and resolution of outstanding balances.
- Review payer and patient account information for accuracy.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation within relevant systems.
- Identify recurring issues and escalate trends affecting revenue cycle performance.
- Collaborate with billing, coding, denials, and patient financial services teams.
- Follow established workflows, quality standards, and healthcare compliance requirements.
