Requirements
- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license required.
- Demonstrated customer service experience supporting home and auto insurance customers, preferably within a personal lines environment.
- Strong understanding of insurance account servicing, policy changes, coverage, payments, cancellations, and related customer needs.
- Experience with AMS360, PL Rater, or other insurance rating and agency management tools is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships and explain insurance information clearly.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, decision-making, prioritization, and time-management skills.
- Ability to multitask effectively and work comfortably in a high-volume, fast-paced customer service environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and confidence navigating multiple technology platforms simultaneously.
- Ability to maintain a dedicated, distraction-free professional home workspace with a dedicated desk.
- Reliable high-speed wired internet is required, with a minimum of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of assigned personal lines accounts, including policy changes, cancellations, payments, account updates, and coverage adjustments.
- Review client accounts and recommend or add appropriate coverage based on customer needs.
- Respond promptly and professionally to incoming customer calls and emails, identifying needs and taking appropriate action to achieve high satisfaction.
- Build and maintain strong, productive relationships with customers, insurance carriers, and other stakeholders.
- Support customer retention by identifying opportunities to transfer existing clients to sales when appropriate and by cross-selling additional lines of insurance.
- Prepare and process required documentation, including applications, policy change requests, disclosures, and related paperwork.
- Accurately document all customer and carrier interactions, completed activities, tasks, and received documents within the AMS360 management system.
- Navigate multiple computer systems and insurance tools simultaneously while actively assisting customers.
- Meet established productivity, quality, service, and performance expectations while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
