Requirements
- 5+ years of experience managing a team of 4+ engineers in an agile, remote environment.
- Recent hands-on experience writing production code and designing or evolving production systems.
- Proven experience building LLM-powered or agentic features in production.
- Strong proficiency with TypeScript, Node.js, AWS, and React.
- Experience designing and building APIs; GraphQL and Kafka knowledge is a plus.
- Experience with observability and APM tools such as New Relic, Datadog, or Sentry.
- Strong understanding of application security best practices and SDLC integration.
- Demonstrated experience modernizing legacy systems or managing technical debt.
- Fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Prior SaaS experience is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a distributed, asynchronous setting.
Responsibilities
- Lead the team responsible for core platform capabilities used for planning and managing testing work.
- Drive the design and delivery of agentic workflows integrated into the platform core.
- Set multi-quarter technical direction in partnership with AI/ML and product teams.
- Modernize fragmented data models and legacy services to ensure transactional integrity.
- Own technical delivery from concept to production, turning strategy into a sequenced roadmap.
- Establish effective engineering operating rhythms, including planning and design reviews.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership, including code reviews and technical design sign-offs.
- Own production support, triage, and root-cause analysis for platform domains.
- Define service level objectives and performance monitoring dashboards.
- Coach engineers on technical practices and AI-assisted development workflows.
