Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on building and scaling SaaS applications.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with authentication and authorization systems.
- Prior experience developing and maintaining distributed applications.
- Deep understanding of authentication and authorization protocols: OIDC (OpenID Connect), SAML, and SCIM.
- Strong knowledge of IAM concepts including RBAC and ABAC.
- REST API design and development experience, especially from a security aspect.
- Solid understanding of web security vulnerabilities and mitigation strategies such as CORS, XSS, and CSRF.
- Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Python, Go, or equivalent.
- Experience with cloud platforms, queuing/messaging systems (e.g., SQS), and data stores (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, DynamoDB).
- Experience with CI/CD and instrumentation for observability (metrics, traces, logs).
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, high-performance software solutions.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, promoting best practices across the organization.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.
- Champion new technologies and methodologies while exploring AI-assisted tools for productivity.
- Implement robust security solutions by identifying vulnerabilities and applying a security-first mindset.
- Mentor engineers and accelerate documentation through collaborative agile practices.
