Requirements
- Demonstrated experience testing mobile, web, and/or backend systems.
- Proven experience validating RESTful APIs, backend services, data flows, and business logic.
- Solid understanding of software development and testing lifecycles (SDLC/STLC) and industry QA best practices.
- Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman or similar solutions.
- Strong technical understanding of system architecture, integrations, APIs, and data flows.
- Ability to independently investigate issues and understand the technical context behind defects.
- Comfortable working in a remote, fast-paced startup environment.
- Strong ownership mindset and ability to execute independently.
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test strategies across mobile applications, web interfaces, and backend services.
- Validate complex end-to-end user flows spanning frontend experiences and backend systems.
- Perform REST API validation, data integrity checks, and business logic testing using tools such as Postman.
- Conduct cross-platform regression testing ahead of releases to ensure product stability.
- Investigate and diagnose defects using application logs, network tools, and API inspection.
- Document, prioritize, and track defects while collaborating with engineers to drive resolution.
- Maintain reliable test environments, device coverage, and platform test data.
- Identify and communicate quality risks during sprint planning and release cycles.
