Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field with 5+ years of experience, or Master's degree with 3+ years of experience.
- Demonstrated U.S. Government procurement experience including FAR and DFARS knowledge.
- Experience collaborating with program organizations and stakeholders in supply chain functions.
- Proficiency with ERP systems, specifically Costpoint or SAP.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Teams, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance.
- Strong understanding of sourcing, contract administration, and commercial negotiations.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple priorities.
- Strong analytical and independent decision-making capabilities.
- Previous experience with Costpoint is preferred.
- Knowledge of MRO categories and suppliers is preferred.
- Experience with Long Term Pricing Agreements and Blanket Purchase Orders is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Source and procure specialized goods and services in accordance with defense supply chain principles.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders including contracts, engineering, quality, and program teams.
- Manage contractual obligations, deliverables, and commercial requirements for assigned suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with public laws, organizational policies, and import/export regulations.
- Prepare bid packages, conduct negotiations, and execute contract awards.
- Monitor supplier quality, reliability, and performance against delivery schedules.
- Identify and mitigate procurement risks while conducting continuous improvement initiatives.
