Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in electrical maintenance, testing, installation, commissioning, or outage execution within power generation or heavy industrial environments.
  • 3+ years of leadership or project management experience overseeing technical teams or field services.
  • Strong knowledge of power distribution systems, motors, generators, switchgear, transformers, and protective relays.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of NEC, NFPA standards, and OSHA electrical safety regulations.
  • Ability to interpret electrical blueprints, one-line diagrams, and technical specifications.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%, including extended assignments during outages.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain unescorted access authorization for commercial nuclear power plants.
  • Must be able to stand, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds in industrial environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of electrical maintenance, testing, installation, troubleshooting, commissioning, power distribution, and outage support projects from planning through completion.
  • Provide technical leadership and oversight for electrical field services in accordance with industry best practices and codes.
  • Develop project scopes, schedules, resource plans, budgets, estimates, and execution strategies.
  • Supervise and mentor electricians, field service personnel, and subcontractors while fostering a culture of accountability.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, nuclear quality requirements, plant procedures, and industry standards.
  • Conduct audits and quality reviews to identify hazards and verify system compliance.
  • Partner with customers to develop customized service solutions and build long-term relationships.
  • Support proposal development, bid preparation, and technical reviews for new business opportunities.
