Requirements

  • University or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 6+ years of sales experience at an end-user account or partner level.
  • Demonstrated experience selling through or to partners in complex business environments.
  • Proven experience working directly with reseller, distributor, systems integrator, software, or managed services ecosystems.
  • Strong technology acumen with the ability to connect current trends to business strategies.
  • Strong sales and account-management expertise including opportunity identification, solution positioning, and value-based selling.
  • Financial acumen and ability to use performance indicators to assess opportunities and risks.
  • Strong sales forecasting skills to anticipate partner needs and address pipeline gaps.
  • Excellent negotiation and conflict-management abilities to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging with executives and stakeholders.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert to channel partners including VARs, distributors, SIs, ISVs, and MSPs.
  • Build and execute joint business plans to increase revenue, profitability, pipeline, and market share.
  • Translate business strategies into effective partner-selling approaches to drive growth.
  • Coordinate partner-facing sales activities such as sales cadences, education, marketing, and forecasting.
  • Drive account mapping between partner and field sales teams to maximize coverage.
  • Lead implementation of partner strategies and influence partner investment in sellers and solution architects.
  • Tailor technology solutions to partner customer needs while meeting assigned sales quotas.
  • Monitor partner sales activity and pipeline development to improve execution.
