Requirements
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field preferred
- Exceptional hands-on experience with Power BI, including advanced DAX and semantic model design
- Advanced SQL skills (CTEs, joins, aggregations, troubleshooting)
- Familiarity with star schemas, fact/dimension tables, and semantic model design
- Experience building financial performance analytics
- Experience with Snowflake (strongly preferred)
- Strong Excel skills (data connections, data manipulation, pivot tables, formulas)
- Ability to work directly with non-technical stakeholders to gather requirements
- Comfort presenting to senior and executive stakeholders
- Exposure to AI platforms or tools (e.g., AI-assisted analytics, LLM-based tools)
- Familiarity with retail, entertainment, franchise, or multi-location operations businesses
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain Power BI reports and semantic models, including DAX measures, calculated columns, and interactive data visualizations
- Write and maintain Snowflake SQL for reporting pipelines, data quality checks, and ad hoc analysis requests
- Develop performance analytics around KPIs and other metrics to support key business initiatives
- Partner directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate ambiguous business questions into technical specifications
- Own the day-to-day intake, triage, and execution of Power BI reporting service desk requests
- Troubleshoot data quality issues and discrepancies across reporting platforms
- Maintain and improve documentation for reporting logic, data definitions, and BI assets
- Coordinate with internal IT and data teams to maintain and improve reporting integrity
