Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in at least three programming or scripting languages (e.g., Python, Go, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Bash).
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in application security, DevSecOps, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of OWASP Top 10 and secure software development practices.
- Deep knowledge of API security, authentication, and authorization.
- Cloud security expertise in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with CI/CD technologies like Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions.
- Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code and containerization (e.g., Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with security tools (SAST/DAST, SCA, WAF, SIEM, secrets management).
- Experience with AI-assisted development tool security and governance.
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks (PCI-DSS, GDPR, CCPA, SOC 2).
- Ability to communicate technical risks to stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Partner with DevOps and engineering teams to design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines.
- Implement and improve automated security testing, including SAST, DAST, SCA, and vulnerability scanning.
- Deploy API security solutions and ensure security findings are tracked and addressed.
- Establish application security practices for cloud-native environments, covering identity, networking, and encryption.
- Evaluate and govern the adoption of AI-assisted and agentic coding tools across engineering teams.
- Conduct threat modeling, security assessments, and penetration testing.
- Develop application security KPIs, metrics, and reporting for leadership.
