Requirements
- 4+ years of related experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a technically related field or equivalent work experience.
- Background in software development and scripting (Java, Python, C++, Ruby, JavaScript, PowerShell, PHP).
- Expertise in application security testing (SAST, DAST, SCA tools).
- Proficiency in threat modeling, vulnerability and penetration testing, and API security.
- Experience with OWASP Top Ten mitigation.
- Experience securing applications in AWS and private cloud environments.
- Knowledge of frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, CIS, or SOC 2.
- Relevant certifications such as C|ASE, CSSLP, GWAPT, or OSCP preferred.
Responsibilities
- Plan and carry out application security testing in all phases of the software development life cycle.
- Assess discovered vulnerabilities and recommend risk-mitigating solutions, leveraging automation.
- Communicate findings, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders against defined SLAs.
- Lead AI security initiatives, including threat modeling production LLM stacks and auditing third-party models.
- Collaborate with architects and development teams to drive secure design practices.
- Monitor the security community for public-facing issues and new tactics for testing.
- Train developers and junior application security engineers on weaknesses to avoid.
