Requirements
- BS/BTech degree in CS, IT, Cybersecurity or related field (or 10 years experience).
- 6+ years of experience in securing and deploying applications within Cloud Native environments.
- 3+ years of experience in a dedicated application security role focusing on secure SDLC and DevSecOps.
- Experience identifying, evaluating, and triaging vulnerabilities with SAST/DAST tools.
- Proficiency in coding languages such as Python, JavaScript, C++, or R.
- Experience developing automated security testing using Terraform, Cloudformation, or Python.
- Extensive experience working in AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.
- Deep knowledge of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and remediation.
- 4+ years of experience acting as a technical decision-maker.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate solutions that continuously improve and automate security capabilities.
- Leverage data to understand trends and metrics to improve security posture.
- Lead incident response efforts including analysis, containment, and mitigation.
- Craft and refine security documentation such as policies, standards, and procedures.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers or analysts.
