Requirements
- At least 2 years of sales or outreach experience, preferably in the veterinary industry.
- Live within 45 minutes of a major airport.
- Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to tailor messages to specific audiences.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build new relationships.
- Excellent listening and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
- Proficiency with G Suite (Google Drive, Gmail, Google Calendars, Google Sheets).
- Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
- Ability to learn proprietary company software.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter and independent thinker.
Responsibilities
- Travel to veterinary conferences and clinics across the United States (75% travel).
- Educate veterinary practices and team members on Lap of Love's in-home end-of-life care services.
- Visit a minimum of 3 Lap of Love markets per month to provide educational materials.
- Promote services at national conferences, speaking engagements, and special events.
- Provide new ideas, trends, and tips to strengthen professional relationships.
- Report and track results from visits, events, and meetings to measure effectiveness.
- Utilize virtual and digital channels for promotion during non-travel times.
