Job Details

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in software development.
Expertise in Core Java (8 and 21+), Java EE development, and REST APIs.
Proficiency with IDEs such as Eclipse (IBM Rational Application Developer) and IntelliJ.
Strong front-end skills including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience with complex SQL and relational databases (DB2 / DB2 for I, PostgreSQL).
Familiarity with JUnit for unit testing, Git for source control, and Maven for build/dependency management.
Experience with installation, configuration, upgrade, and administration of Linux environments.
Experience with HCL Digital Experience, IBM WebSphere Application Server, IBM DB2, and/or OpenLiberty.
Understanding of software design patterns, principles, standards, and security best practices.
Ability to work outside normal hours to deploy code changes and maintain the eCommerce ecosystem.

Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, and other teams to translate project requirements into technical deliverables.
Design and implement scalable, responsive, and user-friendly web applications covering both front-end and back-end development.
Develop well-structured and efficient code using appropriate programming languages and frameworks.
Create and maintain databases, APIs, and server-side functionalities to support application performance.
Ensure web application security and integrity by implementing best practices for authentication, authorization, and data protection.
Analyze, support, maintain, refactor, and modernize legacy code.
Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and consistency.
