Requirements

  • Business proficiency or fluency in English, with solid written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree plus at least 3 years of experience in Corporate Finance, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Commercial Finance, Deal Desk or an analytical Go To Market role.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant analytical experience if no degree.
  • Demonstrated analytical and financial skills with a firm understanding of core financial concepts.
  • Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills with experience building financial models, logic formulas, and scenario analyses.
  • Diligent and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple high-velocity requests simultaneously.
  • Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
  • Self-starter mindset with comfort asking clarifying questions.

Responsibilities

  • Build and analyze financial models and pricing scenarios for standard and non-standard agreements, evaluating critical variables including pricing, discounting, term length, usage commitments, and gross margin impact.
  • Partner with Sales to structure commercially sound deals by analyzing tradeoffs across price, volume, and risk, ensuring all structures align with Twilio’s financial guardrails.
  • Act as a guardrail and educator for Sales and GTM teams, ensuring adherence to internal contracting policies, approval matrices, and discount governance.
  • Own the end-to-end Deal Desk operational workflow in Salesforce/CPQ, ensuring 100% data integrity and policy compliance.
  • Establish trusted working relationships across Commercial Legal, Billing Operations, Corporate Finance, and Sales to streamline deal velocity.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Legal to review and structure non-standard contract language within Order Forms.
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and modeling to support broader business decisions and strategic initiatives.
  • Drive and participate in cross-functional project improvement initiatives to scale Deal Desk operations and optimize internal workflows.
