Requirements
- Track record of owning transformation pipelines over financial or operational data end to end.
- Strong SQL proficiency and experience with dbt or similar tools.
- Comfort with version control, testing, and deployment workflows.
- High agency in driving standards and architectural decisions.
- Ability to handle ambiguity and drive technical decisions across the pipeline.
- Experience refactoring and optimizing models at scale.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Commitment to code quality, data integrity, and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Own how we build client-facing data transformations faster, better, and in a more scalable way.
- Leverage AI to accelerate, improve, and document data transformation work.
- Design and evolve data integrity tests in collaboration with Engineering and Customer Success.
- Partner with Customer Success to understand data and reporting needs, troubleshoot issues, and build robust transformations.
- Refactor and optimize critical models and pipelines, defining patterns and conventions.
- Improve team processes and developer experience through excellent code and thoughtful reviews.
