Requirements
- Active Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) certification.
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in good standing.
- Active license to practice in at least one of these states: FL, TX, NC, GA, NJ, PA, IL, NY, VA, DC, or MD.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience providing psychiatric care and psychotherapy.
- Experience providing both psychiatric medication management and psychotherapy.
- Experience with evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, or IPT.
- Experience working with women's mental health, reproductive mental health, maternal mental health, and/or postpartum populations is strongly preferred.
- Comfortable providing care through a telehealth/outpatient setting.
- Strong documentation, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of clinical quality, ethics, and patient confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a remote clinical team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning.
- Provide ongoing psychiatric medication management, including prescribing, monitoring, and adjusting medications.
- Provide individual psychotherapy using evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, or IPT.
- Deliver outpatient psychiatric care to women across various reproductive and postpartum stages.
- Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans based on patient clinical needs.
- Collaborate with therapists and other healthcare providers to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
- Participate in case consultations, clinical supervision, and team meetings.
