Requirements
- 7+ years designing complex digital products (ideally SaaS).
- Strong portfolio including shipped, native mobile (iOS and Android) work.
- Deep expertise in mobile UX/UI craft, information architecture, interaction design, accessibility, and platform-specific patterns.
- High level of proficiency in interactive prototyping.
- Demonstrated fluency using AI tools across the design thinking process (research synthesis, ideation, prototyping, and validation).
- Expert-level proficiency in qualitative and quantitative research methods.
- Proven track record collaborating with product and engineering to influence direction.
- Ability to drive outcomes without formal authority.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end mobile design for iOS and Android, from strategic discovery through native UI delivery and implementation support.
- Run an AI-augmented design thinking process, using AI to accelerate research synthesis, concept exploration, prototyping, and validation while applying senior judgment.
- Turn user and business insight into on-the-go mobile experiences that measurably improve adoption, retention, and growth.
- Evolve Hostaway's mobile design system and raise the bar on quality, accessibility, and craft across the apps.
- Shape the mobile product strategy by spotting opportunities in research and data, defining a roadmap of high-impact design bets, and championing the user.
