Requirements
- Active Arizona SLP license in good standing, with no disciplinary history on any license held.
- PreK–12 professional non-teaching certificate from the Arizona Department of Education.
- Fingerprint Clearance Card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
- Professional liability insurance.
- Working knowledge of IDEA and Arizona special education law/A.R.S. requirements.
- Comfort and experience with tele-practice platforms for assessment and therapy delivery in a school/IEP setting.
- Reliable, FERPA-compliant home setup: webcam, headset, stable high-speed internet, and a private, distraction-free workspace.
- Strong remote-collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, high-quality speech and language instruction in a virtual classroom.
- Evaluate students' speech and language levels and translate findings into clear, actionable goals.
- Design and carry out individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's IEP.
- Document sessions and track progress toward IEP goals with the rigor districts require.
- Partner with school-based staff, teachers, case managers, and administrators, to keep everyone aligned on student progress.
