Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or related discipline.
  • Proven experience in full management through subordinate managers and/or senior professional staff.
  • Ability to maintain general ledgers and conduct accounting research and analysis.
  • Experience with month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Ability to review and interpret historical transactional activity.
  • Experience managing staff hiring, discipline, and performance.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial policies.
  • Must currently reside in Thailand, Bangladesh, Indonesia, or the Philippines.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the normal schedule.
  • Professional proficiency in English (for documentation and reporting).
  • Chartered Accountant certification or equivalent (e.g., GAAP, USGAAP, CPA) preferred.
  • Fluency in Thai language preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, planning, and consultation to ensure department resources align with operational priorities.
  • Contribute to or prepare and administer the annual budget and departmental expenses.
  • Select, manage, and develop assigned staff, including performance management and coaching.
  • Lead staff in serving internal customers by providing financial reporting advice and policy guidance.
  • Serve as subject matter expert on the organization's financial general ledger system.
  • Oversee the maintenance of monthly/annual financials and the close processes.
  • Analyze financial activity for errors and ensure corrections are made.
  • Manage the preparation and distribution of financial statement reports.
