Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- Proven experience in full management through subordinate managers and/or senior professional staff.
- Ability to maintain general ledgers and conduct accounting research and analysis.
- Experience with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Ability to review and interpret historical transactional activity.
- Experience managing staff hiring, discipline, and performance.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial policies.
- Must currently reside in Thailand, Bangladesh, Indonesia, or the Philippines.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the normal schedule.
- Professional proficiency in English (for documentation and reporting).
- Chartered Accountant certification or equivalent (e.g., GAAP, USGAAP, CPA) preferred.
- Fluency in Thai language preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, planning, and consultation to ensure department resources align with operational priorities.
- Contribute to or prepare and administer the annual budget and departmental expenses.
- Select, manage, and develop assigned staff, including performance management and coaching.
- Lead staff in serving internal customers by providing financial reporting advice and policy guidance.
- Serve as subject matter expert on the organization's financial general ledger system.
- Oversee the maintenance of monthly/annual financials and the close processes.
- Analyze financial activity for errors and ensure corrections are made.
- Manage the preparation and distribution of financial statement reports.
