Requirements
- Licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent accounting license.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, or controllership roles.
- Proven experience working in the retail industry.
- Strong experience managing and accounting for physical inventory.
- Hands-on experience using NetSuite ERP.
- Hands-on experience using QuickBooks.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning activities.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Lead inventory accounting processes and reconcile physical inventory counts.
- Develop and maintain effective internal controls and financial procedures.
- Coordinate audits and work directly with external auditors.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business growth.
