Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
- Minimum of 4 years of related civil engineering experience.
- Must be a registered professional engineer (PE).
- Proficient in Civil 3D software.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to contribute and work well on a team.
- Ability to travel for in-office activities, client, and site visits as needed.
Responsibilities
- Perform engineering duties related to evaluating, designing, and constructing plans for small to large-sized projects.
- Manage project documentation while maintaining knowledge of project scope, schedule, and budget.
- Process design calculations and analyze reports to prepare cost estimates and project feasibility studies.
- Coordinate project design aspects using standard techniques, methods, and procedures.
- Communicate project progress with project managers and clients.
- Maintain project information and client records in the firm's project management system.
- Evaluate and propose adaptations to standard methods and procedures.
- Supervise and provide technical guidance to less experienced staff.
- Travel to project sites to conduct observations in various terrain and weather conditions.
