Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent combination of training/experience).
  • 10+ years of experience in systems administration, infrastructure, network, or cloud administration.
  • 7+ years in a senior-level systems or infrastructure role supporting complex enterprise environments.
  • Expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and group policy management.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, and Microsoft Entra ID administration.
  • Proficiency with virtualization platforms including VMware and/or Microsoft Hyper-V.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, system hardening, and vulnerability management.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC compliance requirements.
  • Working knowledge of PowerShell or other scripting/automation technologies.
  • Active U.S. Government security clearance (Secret level).
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 20%.

Responsibilities

  • Administer, maintain, monitor, secure, and optimize enterprise servers, networks, storage, endpoints, cloud services, virtualization platforms, and IT infrastructure.
  • Manage Microsoft 365, Azure, and Microsoft Entra ID environments including identity, access, and security configurations.
  • Implement and maintain technical controls to ensure compliance with NIST SP 800-171, CMMC, and federal contractor cybersecurity requirements.
  • Evaluate, implement, and govern AI and automation technologies to improve IT operations and security.
  • Administer enterprise backup, restoration, and disaster recovery solutions to meet RTO/RPO objectives.
  • Provide advanced technical support, mentoring, and escalation assistance to IT staff.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, SOPs, and system inventories.
