Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of information security/assurance or risk management experience.
- 3+ years in a senior-level cybersecurity role within a complex enterprise environment.
- Strong knowledge of NIST SP 800-171, CMMC, and federal/DoD cybersecurity requirements.
- Experience with SSPs, POA&Ms, and compliance evidence documentation.
- Proficiency with vulnerability management, scanning, and remediation.
- Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, firewalls, and identity monitoring tools.
- Experience securing Microsoft 365/GCC High, Azure, Entra ID, and Active Directory.
- Working knowledge of Windows Server, network infrastructure, TCP/IP, and virtualization.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Government Secret security clearance.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, investigate, and respond to cybersecurity alerts, incidents, and threats across enterprise, endpoint, cloud, and application environments.
- Support compliance with NIST SP 800-171, CMMC, and federal/DoD requirements, including protection of CUI and FCI.
- Implement, document, and monitor cybersecurity controls, policies, and system security plans.
- Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and security reviews to prioritize remediation efforts.
- Support internal and external audits, including CMMC assessments and customer reviews.
- Analyze security logs and threat intelligence using SIEM, EDR, and Microsoft 365 security tools.
- Participate in incident response, containment, and recovery activities.
- Manage identity and access controls, including MFA, Conditional Access, and RBAC.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to IT and cybersecurity personnel.
