Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in data modeling and/or data governance roles.
- Working knowledge of SQL and data models for auditing and advising on governance implementation.
- Demonstrated experience establishing and maintaining data standards and sensitivity/classification frameworks.
- Experience communicating technical data concepts to non-technical stakeholders and driving adoption.
- Familiarity with data-related legal and regulatory requirements.
- Strong written communication skills for creating clear and discoverable documentation.
- Ability to influence without direct authority across departments.
- Fluency in English.
- BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
- Must be a resident of Brazil at the start of employment and within commuting distance of São Paulo.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain organizational data standards, definitions, and sensitivity classifications.
- Ensure data platform and analytics practices remain compliant with relevant laws and internal policies.
- Drive the adoption of data standards across various organizational pillars.
- Develop training, documentation, and enablement resources to improve organizational data literacy.
- Partner with Analytics and Data Engineers to ensure new models and pipelines meet established standards.
- Explore and pilot new tools for data cataloging, lineage, and standards enforcement.
- Track and articulate the impact of data literacy and standards adoption on decision quality.
