Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience developing and executing technology strategies, roadmaps, and budgets.
- Demonstrated success in leading, mentoring, and developing high-performing engineering and infrastructure teams.
- Strong knowledge of cloud and hybrid environments, infrastructure-as-code, automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with system administration, network infrastructure, and service reliability frameworks (e.g., SRE, ITIL).
- Expertise in applying enterprise architecture principles for secure and scalable technology delivery.
- Working knowledge of compliance and data protection standards such as FERPA, GLBA, and privacy regulations.
- Experience managing vendor relationships, contracts, and financial governance.
- Ability to partner with senior leadership and translate complex technical concepts.
- Fluency in verbal and written English.
Responsibilities
- Set vision, multi-year strategy, and annual operating plans for platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise shared services.
- Build and mature platform engineering capabilities, including cloud landing zones, infrastructure-as-code, and CI/CD enablement.
- Design and govern reusable technology services for multiple institutions, subsidiaries, and business models.
- Establish site reliability engineering practices, including service-level objectives, capacity planning, and disaster recovery.
- Support M&A due diligence and integration planning for infrastructure, identity, and data environments.
- Manage annual operating and capital budgets, vendor relationships, and FinOps governance.
- Lead, mentor, and develop engineering teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence and inclusion.
