Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-approved law school.
- Active license to practice in the State of California.
- 8+ years of litigation experience including support, deposition, and trial preparation.
- 5+ years of litigation experience in Lemon Law defense matters.
- 2+ years of CRLA, tenant advocacy, or housing litigation experience.
- 2+ years of general liability defense experience.
- Ability to manage full case handling responsibilities from discovery through trial.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience with time management systems.
- Strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
Responsibilities
- Develop compelling case themes and litigation strategies.
- Independently handle all phases of litigation including court appearances, depositions, and trial preparation.
- Manage and oversee full case responsibilities including discovery and motion practice.
- Collaborate effectively as part of a multi-experience legal team.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and direction to less experienced attorneys.
- Conduct routine communications with clients and cultivate professional relationships.
- Refuse to accept mediocrity by maintaining high standards in all case work.
