Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-approved law school.
- Active license to practice law in the State of California.
- 8+ years of solid litigation experience, specifically including litigation support, deposition, and trial preparation.
- Demonstrated ability to manage full case handling responsibilities, including discovery and trial phases.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Experience working with time management and case management systems.
- Ability to think and act independently with minimal supervision.
- Outstanding listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Experience handling insurance defense matters is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop compelling case themes and litigation strategies.
- Independently handle court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team with diverse experience levels.
- Maintain routine communication with clients and cultivate professional relationships.
- Provide leadership and direction to less experienced attorneys.
- Refuse to accept mediocrity and maintain high standards for all legal work.
