Requirements
- BS/MS in computer science, information systems, or equivalent.
- 10+ years of experience building reliable, scalable, and high-quality systems.
- Experience in building consumer-facing applications with a frontend framework (React, Svelte, Angular, Vue, or Ember).
- Experience building software with NodeJS or Golang.
- Experience developing consumer-facing applications consuming various APIs from a microservice backend system.
- Experience with database technologies such as PostgreSQL, Spanner, or BigQuery.
- Knowledge of full development life cycle and computer science fundamentals.
- Strong focus on code quality and conducting code reviews.
- Experience mentoring other engineers.
- Previous startup experience strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Implement new product features and support/extend existing ones.
- Build frontend platform components for internal products and ecommerce storefronts like Shopify and Salesforce.
- Contribute to overall architecture and maintain code quality standards in partnership with other senior engineers.
- Work with product and design teams to translate wireframes and mockups into functional UI components.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of backend services using Golang and Node.js.
- Manage deployments and infrastructure using GCP and CI/CD pipelines.
