Requirements
- 5–8 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 3 years in Deal Desk, Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or similar.
- Strong experience supporting enterprise or mid-market SaaS sales teams through complex, negotiated transactions.
- Solid understanding of SaaS commercial and financial fundamentals, including revenue recognition, ARR, and billing terms.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce and Salesforce CPQ, including quote configuration and approval workflows.
- Advanced proficiency with Excel and Google Sheets for analysis, modeling, and reporting.
- Strong commercial judgment and the ability to guide stakeholders toward defensible decisions.
- Excellent negotiation and conflict-management skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to understand broader business implications.
- Experience in cybersecurity or managed security services is a plus.
- Willingness to travel occasionally as required.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary Deal Desk partner for Sales, advising account executives on quoting, pricing, discount structures, and non-standard terms.
- Coach sales teams to identify deal complexity early and structure opportunities before late-stage negotiations.
- Own end-to-end deal approvals, including package preparation and stakeholder coordination.
- Partner with Legal to translate commercial objectives into contractual terms and manage business trade-offs.
- Maintain and improve negotiation playbooks and fallback positions for commercial terms.
- Collaborate with Finance to ensure closed transactions support revenue recognition and margin requirements.
- Provide leadership with visibility into pipeline, discounting patterns, and deal trends.
- Own and continuously improve lead-to-cash quoting and approval processes.
- Work with Revenue Operations and Business Systems on Salesforce and CPQ configuration and reporting.
