Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering.
- Deep hands-on experience designing and operating Google Cloud Platform architecture.
- Strong Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code expertise using GitOps practices.
- Proven experience building CI/CD pipelines for Infrastructure-as-Code.
- Significant production experience with Kubernetes and GKE.
- Strong understanding of cloud and L3/L4-L7 networking fundamentals.
- Practical experience with observability platforms like Prometheus, Thanos, and Grafana.
- Operator-level knowledge of production data stores and message brokers like PostgreSQL or RabbitMQ.
- Solid understanding of SRE principles including SLOs and capacity planning.
- Strong scripting or programming capabilities in Python, Go, or Shell.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex production problems.
- Ability to work effectively in a globally distributed and async-first environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and evolve highly available cloud architecture on Google Cloud using Terraform and GitOps.
- Build and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines for Infrastructure-as-Code with automated testing and drift detection.
- Develop self-service capabilities and golden paths to improve developer productivity.
- Operate and maintain production GKE environments, including Helm-based deployments and security.
- Strengthen platform observability using Prometheus, Thanos, Grafana, Loki, Tempo, and Alertmanager.
- Operate infrastructure services and data platforms including PostgreSQL and message brokers.
- Participate in a global Follow-The-Sun on-call rotation and lead incident management.
- Apply SRE principles like SLOs and error budgets to improve operational maturity.
- Design and troubleshoot cloud networking components such as VPCs, load balancing, and DNS.
