Requirements
- 5+ years of professional DevOps Engineering experience with significant hands-on GCP experience.
- Commercial experience building and operating data infrastructure on Google Cloud.
- Hands-on expertise with BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL, and Cloud Storage.
- Advanced experience with Terraform for infrastructure and deployments.
- Strong understanding of GCP networking (VPCs, subnets, firewall rules, private connectivity).
- Proven experience with Kubernetes/GKE and Docker in production environments.
- Solid experience designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of cloud security practices (IAM, CMEK, VPC Service Controls, vulnerability scanning).
- Programming or scripting experience in Python and/or Bash.
- English proficiency at B2 / Upper-Intermediate level or higher.
Responsibilities
- Build and improve highly available, scalable, and secure cloud data infrastructure on GCP and Kubernetes/GKE.
- Design and maintain infrastructure for BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL, and Cloud Storage.
- Develop and manage Terraform configurations for networking, infrastructure, and application deployments.
- Build and optimize advanced CI/CD pipelines for data services with a focus on automation and security.
- Implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and observability across cloud infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot production incidents, identify root causes, and implement sustainable fixes.
- Collaborate with application and data engineering teams to establish operational standards and engineering practices.
