Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 4+ years of accounting experience in a professional setting.
- Hands-on experience performing bank reconciliations independently.
- Solid understanding of double-entry bookkeeping and accrual-basis accounting.
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks preferred, Sage Intacct a plus).
- Strong attention to detail with ability to reconcile accounts accurately.
- Ability to follow written policies and procedures precisely.
Responsibilities
- Prepare routine monthly journal entries including accruals, prepaid amortization, depreciation, and reclassifications.
- Maintain clean supporting workpapers for all journal entries for review by the Controller or auditors.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations across all company entities within the close calendar.
- Reconcile vendor billing platform data against the general ledger and investigate variances.
- Monitor automated AP/AR workflows, address exception queues, and escalate overdue items.
- Maintain consistent records across three legal entities and apply proper intercompany coding.
