Requirements
- 7+ years of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.
- Experience with Epic revenue cycle workflows (Resolute Hospital Billing, claims, remittance, work queues, reporting).
- Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance filing regulations and reimbursement.
- Progressive revenue cycle leadership experience within an acute care hospital or integrated delivery system.
- Experience managing patient accounts, accounts receivable follow-up, and revenue recovery initiatives.
- Must be HIPAA compliant.
Responsibilities
- Implement and improve revenue cycle processes including billing, claims, and denial prevention.
- Integrate revenue cycle workflows into hospital systems, specifically Epic Resolute.
- Monitor financial and operational KPIs such as AR days, clean claim rates, and denial recovery.
- Ensure organizational compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance regulations.
- Oversee the Patient Financial Services team and manage department budgets.
- Manage outsourced revenue cycle vendors and business partners.
