Requirements

  • 7+ years of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Experience with Epic revenue cycle workflows (Resolute Hospital Billing, claims, remittance, work queues, reporting).
  • Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance filing regulations and reimbursement.
  • Progressive revenue cycle leadership experience within an acute care hospital or integrated delivery system.
  • Experience managing patient accounts, accounts receivable follow-up, and revenue recovery initiatives.
  • Must be HIPAA compliant.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and improve revenue cycle processes including billing, claims, and denial prevention.
  • Integrate revenue cycle workflows into hospital systems, specifically Epic Resolute.
  • Monitor financial and operational KPIs such as AR days, clean claim rates, and denial recovery.
  • Ensure organizational compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance regulations.
  • Oversee the Patient Financial Services team and manage department budgets.
  • Manage outsourced revenue cycle vendors and business partners.
