Requirements
- Strong hands-on Python backend development experience.
- Experience building REST APIs and backend services.
- Experience developing applications using Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
- Experience with SQL, relational databases, data processing, and query optimization.
- Experience integrating applications through APIs and web services.
- Experience supporting cloud-based deployments and CI/CD processes.
- Experience with unit testing, debugging, production support, and performance optimization.
- Knowledge of secure coding and development best practices.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with business and technical teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Python applications supporting insurance business processes, including Policy, Claims, Underwriting, and Billing systems.
- Build REST APIs and backend services, and integrate applications with internal and external systems using APIs and web services.
- Develop data-processing and automation solutions using Python and SQL, work with relational databases, and optimize SQL queries.
- Develop and maintain applications using Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Support cloud-based deployments, CI/CD processes, unit testing, debugging, production support, and performance optimization.
