- Proven background in CI/CD, build infrastructure, release engineering, or foundational backend platforms.
- Strong architectural instincts with a focus on simplicity and long-term platform leverage.
- Experience operating at hyperscaler or platform-provider scale.
- Track record of owning and delivering complex, cross-team technical initiatives.
- Ability to remain a hands-on builder while influencing architectural direction.
- Capability to quickly learn new technical territory and apply first-principles thinking.
- Capacity to lead complex initiatives from idea to rollout.
Responsibilities
- Define technical direction for build, test, and deploy systems.
- Drive architectural decisions across pipeline design, test infrastructure, and deployment orchestration.
- Design and implement AI-powered QA agents to run on every deploy.
- Turn ambiguous infrastructure problems into scalable systems and clear technical guidance.
- Partner with engineering leaders to align release engineering with company needs.
- Guide technical tradeoffs and mentor engineers across the organization.
