Requirements
- Prior IM/GIS work experience, preferably within humanitarian or NGO sector.
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
- Demonstrated extensive experience using ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise.
- Experience with Survey123 (or Kobo or ODK).
- Database management and SQL skills (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, or equivalent).
- Experience using Google Earth, Power Apps, and Microsoft Lists.
- Professional working proficiency (minimum B2) in English and Arabic, written and spoken.
- Ability to complete a rotation of eight weeks in Gaza, and two weeks out.
- Ability to travel within the region for training if required.
Responsibilities
- Maintain internal IM systems to ensure accurate and efficient data collection and storage.
- Supervise, support, and mentor staff and assistants involved in data collection.
- Produce live and static mapping and GIS products to support operations and donor management.
- Manage data in the Global Operations Information Management System (GO-IMS).
- Establish clear data flows with UNMAS and implement mobile data collection techniques.
- Design and maintain programme databases and datasets.
- Develop SQL queries for reporting and GIS purposes.
- Produce infographics and visualizations for donor reports and external publications.
- Maintain and develop the prioritization matrix to identify areas needing mine action support.
