Requirements
- 5-7+ years of hands-on motion design and video editing experience.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end craft from concept through final cut.
- Expert-level proficiency in motion design and editing tools (e.g., After Effects, Premiere).
- Deep experience creating YouTube-first video content with knowledge of adapting for Meta.
- Ability to use performance data (e.g., YouTube metrics, HighRise) to inform and iterate on creative decisions.
- Hands-on familiarity with AI-assisted animation tools and workflows.
- Native or fluent German speaker with excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong understanding of the German-speaking market, including cultural trends and consumer behavior.
- Experience managing or mentoring junior designers, freelancers, or agency partners.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Experience localizing creative assets by adapting copy, pacing, and cultural nuance.
Responsibilities
- Create, animate, and edit motion graphics and video content for upper- and mid-funnel campaigns for YouTube and Meta platforms.
- Manage multiple high-volume projects simultaneously against fast-moving turnaround times.
- Utilize YouTube metrics and HighRise reporting to inform creative decisions, revisions, and testing strategies.
- Develop and implement new tools and workflows, including AI-assisted animation processes.
- Manage and mentor junior team members, agencies, and freelancers.
- Establish reusable systems and templates to speed up production and reduce costs.
- Serve as the final expert voice and quality guardian for all motion design assets.
