Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 0 – 6 months of previous Infusion Reimbursement or Intake/Admissions experience.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formatting, data entry, basic functions).
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word (document formatting, editing, tracking changes).
- Ability to work 8AM - 5PM MST/PST.
- Understanding of claims entry, submission, and follow-up processes.
Responsibilities
- Submit timely, accurate invoices to payers for products and services provided.
- Verify services, products, and fee schedules to ensure accurate billing.
- Evaluate received payments for correctness and apply them to patient accounts.
- Follow up on submitted invoices and denials to ensure prompt payment.
- Generate and mail patient statements and collection letters.
- Assist with billing and collection training initiatives.
- Perform second-level appeals to payers.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA guidelines and contract policies.
