Requirements
- BS/BA degree or equivalent applicable work experience.
- Minimum of ten (10) years in an information security role (consulting, architect, team leader, or director).
- Thorough understanding of the current threat landscape, vulnerabilities, and defensive controls related to Cisco and Splunk.
- Strong business and technical acumen for leading technology-focused discussions.
- Expertise in sales techniques: presenting, negotiating, and overcoming objections.
- Strong presentation, written, and oral communication skills, including experience with whiteboard sessions.
- Attention to detail for reviewing statements of work (SOWs), quotes, and client deliverables.
- Relevant professional cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, GIAC, CISA, CISM, CCSP).
- Vendor-specific certification(s) focused on Cisco and Splunk.
- Ability to travel within the US, Canada, and internationally as needed.
Responsibilities
- Drive pipeline generation of services and technologies business to meet or exceed quarterly and annual quota objectives.
- Identify Cisco and Splunk related security toolset applications and correlate them into Optiv’s strategic solutions.
- Qualify, lead, and partner with internal colleagues to manage proposals and follow through to closure.
- Collaborate with service delivery teams to present a consistent and comprehensive approach to Cisco and Splunk solutions.
- Interface with executive-level client stakeholders to define roadmaps and execute on security strategy.
- Participate in account planning, forecasting, and pipeline management activities.
