Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, global account management, or commercial leadership within the payments industry.
- Proven track record of growing strategic partnerships at significant scale ($50M+ ARR).
- Deep knowledge of payment economics including interchange structures, bank transfer costs, and payment network rules.
- Strong technical fluency in payment capabilities to assess integration feasibility.
- Exceptional executive presence and communication skills, with experience influencing at the C-suite level.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities for building business cases and ROI frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to orchestrate cross-functional teams without direct authority.
- Experience managing multi-year joint business plans.
- Ability to work effectively in a globally distributed, remote-first environment.
Responsibilities
- Own and grow a $100M ARR strategic partnership, delivering a minimum of 30% year-over-year growth.
- Develop, maintain, and execute a rolling multi-year strategic partnership plan.
- Identify, scope, and close expansion opportunities across new geographies, product lines, and merchant segments.
- Serve as the primary executive point of contact for the partner, driving QBRs and annual planning sessions.
- Act as the single internal accountable owner, aligning product, engineering, marketing, legal, and finance teams.
- Define and track commercial KPIs, milestones, and leading indicators of partnership health.
- Build and present business cases to senior leadership to secure resources and investment.
- Maintain deep understanding of global payments ecosystem including PSPs, network rules, and interchange economics.
