Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in data partnerships, rare disease/healthcare data, or data governance.
  • Prior experience working with or for a data vendor, healthcare data platform, or analytics organization.
  • Deep understanding of rare disease data assets, including sourcing, patient identification, linkage, and quality.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements related to healthcare data privacy and compliance.
  • Proven ability to forge strategic collaborations and manage vendor relationships.
  • Expertise in stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess vendor data quality and mitigate data-related risks.
  • Experience with sources such as IQVIA, Komodo, MMIT, Symphony, Definitive Healthcare, or Veeva.

Responsibilities

  • Implement the organization’s rare disease data partnership strategy across US Commercial brands.
  • Establish and manage strategic data partnerships with external providers and platforms.
  • Monitor data quality, security, privacy, and compliance standards for external data assets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and data vendors to address data quality issues and communicate improvements.
  • Implement oversight mechanisms for data-sharing agreements and governance policies.
  • Track partnership performance and spend to provide metrics to senior leadership.
  • Provide ongoing data advisory support to internal stakeholders regarding data application and limitations.
