Requirements
- Experience working within the public health domain, including understanding case surveillance and investigation workflows.
- Demonstrated experience managing and delivering digital services or technology products.
- Proven people management experience, including mentoring and coaching.
- Experience leading legacy modernization, technology migration, or system transformation initiatives.
- Strong understanding of human-centered design principles.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and infrastructure/cloud environments.
- Strong stakeholder and client management skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams across product, design, and engineering.
- Strong understanding of Agile and Lean software development methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple delivery teams.
- Ability to complete required background checks and obtain public trust or security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Own the integrated service and product roadmap for migrating at least three state, tribal, local, and territorial public health jurisdictions per year.
- Identify migration opportunities, assess jurisdiction readiness, and define clear plans for successful adoption.
- Lead multiple cross-functional teams spanning DevOps, content design, and full-stack engineering.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders to align on operational needs, priorities, and migration challenges.
- Coordinate delivery priorities and timelines with agency stakeholders and partner teams.
- Facilitate team ceremonies and planning sessions to maintain momentum and delivery alignment.
- Use research and performance data to refine migration strategy and the platform roadmap.
- Guide teams through the complexities of government technology and organizational change.
