Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience, including ownership of complex technical products from strategy through production.
- Strong technical foundation across system architecture, APIs, databases, distributed systems, and data flows.
- Demonstrated ability to work closely with engineers and contribute to technical designs.
- Professional experience in payments, banking, remittance, insurance, trading, or other high-consequence regulated environments.
- Experience building or managing AI- or LLM-powered products with an understanding of evaluation and reliability safeguards.
- Strong understanding of balancing deterministic systems and human oversight with AI.
- Excellent analytical skills to make sound decisions under technical, regulatory, and operational constraints.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving, distributed, international environment.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Engineering or highly technical product background preferred.
- Experience building zero-to-one fintech products is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Own a product vertical end-to-end, including product strategy, success metrics, roadmap, prioritization, delivery, and launch.
- Partner closely with engineering teams to shape technical designs covering APIs, databases, data flows, ledgering, failure handling, and scalability.
- Translate complex regulatory and operational requirements like KYC, transaction monitoring, and privacy into functional product capabilities.
- Determine where AI can meaningfully improve product outcomes versus where deterministic systems must remain in control.
- Establish evaluation frameworks, safeguards, and reliability measures for AI-powered financial features.
- Drive product delivery across external dependencies including regulatory bodies and third-party financial infrastructure partners.
- Align cross-functional stakeholders in engineering, design, compliance, operations, and finance around product priorities and launch requirements.
