Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proven experience designing and operating distributed, cloud-native, SaaS/multi-tenant platforms, ideally on AWS.
- Strong fundamentals in OOP, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
- Experience with agentic-AI software development practices.
- Experience designing and consuming well-designed HTTP APIs (REST, GraphQL).
- Expertise building highly distributed microservices using Java 25 and Spring Boot.
- Experience mentoring developers and influencing architecture across teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
Responsibilities
- Create architecture, prototypes, and design proposals aligning with product vision.
- Influence technical direction through architecture reviews, RFCs, and hands-on collaboration.
- Partner with stakeholders to define and execute the product/platform architecture roadmap.
- Balance delivery speed, quality, and long-term platform health during technical decision-making.
- Break down large initiatives into incremental, parallelizable chunks of work.
- Champion proposals through all SDLC phases from design to production.
- Contribute to improving core build, CI/CD pipelines, and SDLC processes.
- Troubleshoot production issues and drive reliability, observability, and incident response.
- Mentor developers on design, AI-assisted coding, and engineering maturity.
