Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience with core Java.
- In-depth subject matter expertise in server-side Java.
- Experience working with both monolith applications and microservices.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB.
- Experience delivering cloud-native systems on AWS.
- Proven experience designing and evolving shared platforms or infrastructure.
- Experience working in an agile team environment.
- Proven ability to take ownership of important architectural decisions.
- Strong communication and technical influence skills.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a core contributor on the platform with direct impact on global customers and partners.
- Own key features and architectural improvements end-to-end from design through build.
- Define and evolve technical architecture and standards for scalability and reusability.
- Act as a technical leader across teams, influencing decisions via design reviews and RFCs.
- Lead proof-of-concepts to inform roadmap and architectural decisions.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure observability, reliability, and security.
- Drive operational excellence by eliminating root causes of performance or cost issues.
- Mentor senior and junior engineers through code reviews and technical guidance.
- Champion the effective use of AI-assisted development tools and define standards for their use across the SDLC.
